Is traveling while looking glamorous overrated?
Messy Hair, I Don’t Care…

I live in travel destination location, an island in fact, Bali, Indonesia.
I can honestly say, I brush my hair on average once a week.
However on the day that I do brush it, people seem shocked that
I don’t look like a ‘cave woman‘ everyday. Perhaps living in a place
with natural beauty, has caused me to abandon my own. Or maybe
it’s afforded me the time to focus on things which I feel matters more than
the perfect blow dry / flat ironed look. Before I moved to Bali, I lived in a
place where not only was it uncommon to not looked perfectly manicured, it
was damn near required. New York, the place for business moguls, artists,
bankers, and models. On occasion I wonder if I would able to even relate to such an existence ever again. Probably not, considering I still hold to looking like an unbrushed, or unpolished ‘cave woman‘. Regrets, I have none.
Which leads me to the question, is traveling while looking glamorous overrated? You decide, I think Louis Vuitton’s 2016 Ad Campaign makes a strong argument about keeping one’s hair kempt, and looking ever so fabulous…
